help starting t500

Let me start by saying I am not a T500 man. Never owned one. But I was curious and took a look at the crankcase fiche. There appears to be 2 bolts centered under each crank chamber just forward of the long motor mount.. I would bet good money that those are the drains.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Ok, drained 2-3 ozs from each cylinder. And the bike started right up.
Now on to adjusting the idle....etc

Was what you drained more fuel-like, or oil-like?

If it was fuel, you should address petcock and carb float needle issues.

If it was 2-stroke oil, it may be the oil line check valves are marginal, or that it sat for years with oil slowly working it's way from the oil tank to the crankcase.
