Small Herd of Water Buffalo For Sale

Post by Emit R Detsaw »

Well, I didn't sell these bikes last time, so here I go again - Four - that's right, four - 76 GT750's for sale. Two are 100% complete, one about 60-70% complete, the other a rolling chassis w/no engine or bodywork (missing other stuff as well). Bike #1 is a runner and I occasionally take it out for a spin. Bike #2 is complete, but I started disassembling it for who-knows-what, but it's all there and it ran when I started taking it apart - it is still 80% together, just took off the bodywork and instruments and other trinkets. Bike #3 has an engine with blacked-out cases, and the engine turns freely, but I've never tried to start it. Missing some major goodies, like bodywork, but could be used to rebuild into a cafe-something. Bike #4 is truly a rolling chassis, no engine, electrics, or peripherals. ALL FOUR BIKES ARE TITLED. Additionally, I am throwing in a 1991 Kawasaki 550 Zephyr that I was going to use as a donor bike for suspension, brakes and wheels for bike #2. The Zephyr is not titled. Also have a box-o-spares for the GT's. Make me an offer that isn't absurdly low. orton@cox.net is my email, or just reply to this post. Located in Phoenix. Bring a trailer, there is a LOT of stuff.

Photos available on request.

Guys, I seem to be having trouble posting photos here. They won't upload, I'm pretty certain I'm doing it right. I'll try again tomorrow.[/img]

Displaying photos here is not straightforward - you have to host the photos elsewhere and then link to them from here - many folks in the US use Photobucket, but there are lots of options. There was a thread on this forum (I forget where exactly) that covered this. Basically once you have the photos hosted, then you insert a link into the post - the format is:

for example - if you right click on the image below you can see the link info by checking 'Properties' - and you just add the 'img' front and back ends as required.

Good luck !

PHOTOS! Let's hope this works. Gray bike is #1 from above description, blue bike is #2 (yes, I have the sidepanels). These are the two runners, although the blue bike has been taken apart a bit further than what this shows - but not much.

Honestly, I don't know. I know I have about $3500 USD in the whole lot (and that was before the new tires/paint/seat/brakes/braided lines on bike #1), but being realistic I know that in the depressed economy they won't be sold unless I am flexable on the asking price. I'd entertain any offer above $2500 for the whole herd.

These bikes are still for sale...anyone? Bueller?

I will trade for another interesting 2 stroke street bike. Prefer small displacement, no enduros, and please be close to Phoenix as my wifey won't give me overnight kitchen passes anymore. $2500 for the whole enchilada.
