Can you replace the GT500 electronic ignition with T500 points assembly?

I *believe* you can swap out the GT500 PEI system for points but you'll probably need to swap the wiring loom too.

the reason being is that the shaft at the end of the crank is different on the GT to that of the T,
you can swap the crank to either bike but you cannot put points onto the GT,
or the electronics off the GT to the T.
