All right show time
if nobody steps up with the reeds you need to make a pattern let me know and i will send you one unless like you posted you can easyly find one there . I guess if a bolt on reed box was designed it would give us the chance to try different size reeds to see what really performs best .. the Arctic Cat type 6 petal or maybe the smaller 4 petal Yamaha Blaster or TZ type or even some of Johns custom reeds as these would be the easyest to get in close with there smaller size .

the older i get the faster i was

Durgam, and Dave.
I hope that the Arctic Cat 6 petal reeds are still the common choice, as it's the only set-up I have to play with. Is this still the case? The original picture posted of the bolt on reed box sure looked AC to me, with that 6 bolt pattern. Am I wrong? Anyway, keep us posted. Cheers.

Durgam.
The reeds I have are for the AC ZRT triples, 600 to 900 cc. Doesn't seem to be any difference in the dimensions. Mine are off Ebay, and I got the carb manifolds yesterday, and am expecting the reeds soon also. Those units on the Kawasaki cylinder look awesome. If that's your handywork, you are to be commended. I was under the impression that you already had a sample to use for measuring. If you need, I can send you one of mine. I suspect you need it soon though, right? Sounds like Super Dave is stepping up to the plate. The Kaw guys are not allowed to have all the fun. I'm very happy
that you're a Suzuki kind of guy. If these babies work for Watercooled, it would be nice to see him dust off a few of those other triples. It's great to have you in the group, and this project is getting more interesting all the time. Cheers.

Thats not my handywork, but thanks for the comments about being here. Im probly as excited about these as anybody. I love custom projects, thats why I got into this field. Ive got guys here at my shop coming to me on a daily basis needin things for there customs. from Risers for a stock fat boy, to custom air shift mounts on a sub 10 second harley.
Ill call some buddies and a local salvage yard and try to find those reeds and let you guys know later on today or tommorrow.
