59100-18834 is a kit of piston, seal, damper rubber, four bolt seals and four o-rings
13251-31210 is the L,M,A,B model bowl gasket, you NEED to do the air jet mod with the carbs off the bike and also check the butterfly valves syncro as P.Os tend to mess with the linkage set screws thinking they are an idle adjustment of some sort.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Dave,
Thanks for the kind words.

Allan, it would be wise to do the slow air jet mod while the carbs are off.

Excellent suggestion about bench synching the butterflies, BTW.

Thanks for the part number confirmation Allan. I just had an idea, I bet you could do a pretty good job syncing carbs by hooking each one up to a shop vac on your bench, then using a water column to match them. Might have to play with the shop vac to get a similar "idle-like" level of vacuum. What do you guys think? Crazy?

So I got some parts ordered. They said the Reduction Pilot Air jets are discontinued (09493-31330). Anyone have a suggestion?

I'm thinking it is Sudco part # 004-462. What do you guys think?

Look here in the lower right corner of page:

Almost right but not quite. The jet you want is a BS30/97 which is the AIR JET

Page 136 of the Sudco catalog.

Part number #002-153 for 0.8mm, 002-152 for 0.7mm, 002-154 for 0.9mm etc

So I fired up the Suz today. Running off of the fuel tank for the first time and everything. Gearbox is f'd up. Pulled the level screw, started adding, nothing came out. Oh well, there is at least a quart and a half in there.

Temperature came up on the gauge, sounds great, as soon as this rain stops I'll be on he road!

Was it empty, it takes it a while to run out when adding oil, may not be full.

Well I put a screwdriver down the fill hole to check the depth. It appears as if the level is above the check hole.

Finally rode it today for the first time. It's runs pretty good, intermittently. I think I may have a fuel flow issue. Primarily in the petcock. In the "PRI" position fuel flows with about a 1/16th inch diameter stream. I get the same size stream form the "ON" and the "RES" positions when vacuum is applied to vac hose. This doesn't seem like a lot of fuel.

What do you guys think?

That doesn't sound like much of a flow rate. let's see. It burns say 0.8 pounds of fuel per hp so with say 70 hp at the crank that means it needs 56 pounds of fuel per hour or 9.2gallons at a SG of 6.1.

Some race gas has a much higher SG than that, but it will get us into the ballpark.

So 9.2 gals/hour or 1.2 pints per minute.

So put the fuel pipe into a measuring container or old (clean) 1L oil container market at 1.2 pints and open the tap and time it to reach teh line. More than a minute you have a flow problem. less than a minute, you are good to go.

Better just check my math to be sure though.

You cant measure the trans oil level by putting a screwdriver down the fill hole as its got an elbow at the bottom that runs across the main cases.
You need to fill the g'box cases with the bike on level ground till it just flows out the oil level hole to be accurate.
Did you rebuild that petcock??? a lot of them from age get crud in the tubes leading from the tank opening and the screens get clogged etc, everything needs to be visibly clean when you look at it.

I had the petcock out, but not disassembled. Figured that would be another $50 rebuild kit. Looks like I'll be taking that apart tonight.
