i picked this up in the fall. played with it in my spare time through the winter. it was a simple reassembly with a few electrical issues.
it is an rl model that originally came with a half fairing with square headlight and a chin spoiler.
i put over 200km's on it saturday for a shakedown. it really howls above 3000.
the one complaint i have is the foot peg placement. i found them really high compared to the seat height. i couldn't imagine having long legs, but they would make good armrests for long tours.

I really like the 1984, the bike is styled much nicer than the 81-83. However even your bike would look better with the OEM exhaust. Bill
