GT380 caliper rebuild question - 'o' rings

Post by Craig380 »

A quick double-check question -- the 'o' rings on the caliper pins go in the two "middle" grooves I've pointed out in the picture, is that right?

That's where the o-rings were when I stripped it, but hey, the PO could have got it wrong ....

thanks!

Thats a big ten four, good buddy. The other grooves are for the dust boots to reside in. Don't forget to use a smear of high temp brake assembly grease on the pins, to keep things moving freely as the pads wear. Cheers. Fred

Also add a bit of the same HT grease to the inside of each boot,, just so you know.
Two strokes, its just that simple.
