Oh.
Okay, lets say (just for the sake of arguement mind you) that a prospective racer hadn't joined AHRMA yet because they were waiting to get their "provisional novice" credentials from WERA (ironically enough on July 7). Will AHRMA accept an entry fee and a membership application at the same time with the understanding that proof of "race-worthiness" will follow?
Not that I know anybody in this situation mind you... Just asking is all.....

T-500 Parts bike for sale near Mid-Ohio
Seems relevant to the thread, so I thought I'd post it here. If you disagree, I apologize.
I have a 1971 T-500 in Candy Lavender, near Mid-Ohio. Mostly complete. Engine is not frozen. It's filthy, but would clean up nice. Frame has surface rust, most everything else should clean up.
Local Harley group was going to use it for a "burn bike". I liked it, picked it up, planned to do something with it and have too many other projects to be able to get to it soon.
I thought some of you would have a need for a parts bike, so here it is.
If you'd like to come see it, you can get me at hempoh at yahoo dot com.
Make offer. No title.

You pre-enter for all the races you plan to enter, including Friday practice if you so choose.
I believe with AHRMA if you pre-enter a race and don't actually grid up you can get a refund for entry.
For those with new built bike I would recommend running Friday practice to get the details (bugs?) worked out. It's called infant mortality, usually when mechanical or electrical items are tested for the first time, the problems will usually become apparant very early on giving you the time to makle corrections before "show" time.

From the saveahrma site.
Press release!
"Lights, Camera, Action!
Thanks to the persistence and creative marketing of AHRMA roadracer Brice Cooper, a film crew from the Lucas Oil On The Edge program, which airs on the SPEED network, will be covering the racing action at Mid-Ohio Vintage Motorcycle Days.
Plans are to feature on-board cameras and complete coverage of the Thruxton Cup and Formula 750 races along with highlights of the other races and action of the day. This is a great way to give back to sponsors by putting on your most professional showing in the paddock and on the track. During the lunch break, spectators will be invited down to the paddock for an autograph session with the riders. For more information and possible sponsorship please contact Cooper at briceacooper@aol.com. (Posted 6/29)"
