Yeap I have a Set on my 69 and Haven't had any Problems so far.Of course I only have 15 Miles on it. They look to be as good or Better than the Originals.
I go to Auto Zone and look at hoses on the rack. I found one that had sections that were compatible with all three main sections of hose. You can also find a small one that works for the bypass.
We don't need to agree on everything. And you have more inside information than we do. I also think Rossi is a better rider, but more dedicated, or professional, well if he was, then he would of taken the penality for passing on the waving yellow, but he didn't. And so what if Nicky didn't have much to say? He is not a speaker, he is a racer. I guess he should of ridden around the track with a blow up doll or chicken on the back of the bike? It's not a popularity contest...............
Kinda... Just clean off the dirt and heat up the material to be welded. The rod melts at about 750 degrees so quite a bit before the aluminum will 1200+. You don't use the flame to melt the rod...you heat the base metal enough to melt the rod while rubbing it into the joint. This scrapes off the oxide which has an ultra-high melting point on its own.
I tested it on a Keihin PJ float bowl and it did great.
