Hello
so I am doing some repairs on my gauges and the lens for the brake indicator has faded quite a bit and I am wondering if someone makes replacements or if I could dye it with something. My first thought was coloring it with red sharpie but I don't think it would hold up to any sunlight Any tips would be appreciated
Easy to make a new one of these, just find some red transparent plastic.
Or cut the little disc out of an old helmet transparent visor or similar, coloured with a little red pigment mixed with resin or epoxy glue.
Speaking of making a new one I just remembered that I could 3D print a new one Even a blue one and wire it as a high beam indicator... the brake light indicator never made much sense to me anyway

I think you will find the red light marked B is for high beam, not brake. The earlier models used red B for high beam, later models used blue for high beam. I don't know of models having brake indicator.
Huh I didn't know that, it's wired wrong on my bike then... I guess I'm not the only one the red had confused I think a blue lens will save some confusion
