Deciphering Suzuki bolts/ screws
Many of you may already possess this information but I wanted to share a chart I found on the innerwebs on how to decipher Suzuki bolts and screws. Can be very helpful if you are swapping JIS for hex head allens as to size, thread pitch, and length.

1976 Suzuki GT750 (Maui Blue), 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 Mach IV (Candytone Blue), 1984 Yamaha RZ350 (KRR- Yellow/ Black).

That's very handy and worthy of a workshop wall mounting!
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Re: Deciphering Suzuki bolts/ screws
Suzuki fasteners are all JIS.
JIS bolts have smaller heads: https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-info ... -Size.aspx
JIS thread pitch: https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-info ... Pitch.aspx
JIS & Phillips screw drivers are different: https://www.vesseltools.com/handtools/s ... l-standard
Phillips was designed to cam-out to prevent over tightening. JIS was designed to allow for more torque. Different by intent for different purposes.
Am a big fan of Vessel JIS screwdrivers & impact drivers.
