GT380 Transmission reassemble
Been working on a complete restoration of a 380GT. I installed the transmission yesterday and before I installed the top part of the crankcase it was switching fine between all 6 gears. I proceeded to install the top of the crank case and tried again and it wouldn't go past 2nd gear. What am I doing wrong with the seating of the transmission that would cause that?

Re: GT380 Transmission reassemble
might be a daft question, but did you try turning the mainshaft while you were trying to change gear?

I did not. I suspect therein lies my problem?
