The biggest problem with the modern era strokers is the bikes need fairings to hide everything.
As they developed more HP they also became quite complicated.
Water hoses. radiators, oil lines, fuel lines, powervalve cables, throttle cables, choke cables, wiring for air solenoids, and extra hoses for air and vacuum needs.... You can barely see the motor with all the crap necessary
Although Suzuki did build the VJ21 as a standard type bike for Japan.....but it is still pretty busy looking under the tank compared to the simplicity of an aircooled stroker.
I had thought long and hard about building it as a cafe racer instead of going with original paint and bodywork.....still not sure if I made the right choice.
