Hi, I'm after an alloy or fibreglass cafe racer tank for my T350R and seat if possible,
also a set of expansion boxes for the same bike. Cash waiting for the right bits.
Regards Chris, (Hants UK)

The T250, T350 & 73-77 GT250 gas tanks are interchangeable. The early & late T350 tanks look different. Your late T350 tank looks like a GT250 tank.
You might like the look of a T250 or early T350 gas tank.
We used a T250 tank on a GT250 cafe build & like the looks. Pics of what we did are in our build topic: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=12998
I have an early T350. The early tank is more rounded than yours and has an “S” badge.

Re: WANTED T350/T250 Cafe racer tank+Expansion boxes
Hi jabcb,
My T350R is fitted with a T250 tank and I have a GT250 and T350 tank but fancied something longer
like a racer tank, we call them cafe racer style, sort of long tank, short single humped seat and low bars.
Thanks for the info, I hope I get lucky finding something.
regards Chris

Sounds like a specialist job. Might be worth commissioning one, if you have the dough.

Sbaugz built a sweet T500 cafe build using a Yamaha gas tank.
Its an XS750 tank. He explained how he mounted it here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=11589&start=155

This CB350 with a modified tank & custom seat is rather nice. It won several local bike show trophies & is featured in the 2019 Progressive Motorcycle Show calendar.
