T500 left crank bearing

Post by Splant »

Anyone on here bought the remanufactured ones on ebay? I thought I could get my old one machined out to fit a rd one that would have been a great fit, right inner right width etc,but 3 engineering shops have said the metals to hard to lathe. Last shop dad it would have to be ground out but didn't know who could do it .So looks like the eBay one it is then, always a worry it's not quite to spec though. There only feedback for one sold left positive but no comments?

hi splant, is this the 25 x 65 x 17 bearing? with a hole or sitting on a 'c' ring? if it is it's the same as the gt250 left hand bearing. :D i know one is 25003 [yours] and the gt250 is 25004 [gt250], but sometimes they went one number up for an upgrade. you can still buy the gt250 bearings. failing that, give sep in kegworth a ring and see if he can get you one. phone number is: 01509 673295.
cheers, dd.
