Nice little machine that 125

. I've noticed over the years you do a lovely job with your restorations Zunspec - how much was involved with this one? Is the colour combination a UK one?, as I can't recall seeing it in this neck of the woods.
Hello Mike,
I have a flickr album showing the restoration of the TS125 (
https://flic.kr/s/aHsiUqack2 ). It was in a fairly "used" state when I got it originally and went through the veritable "nut & bolt" process. It goes without saying that I spent far too much

but had real fun doing it. I don't know if the colour combination is specific to the UK or Europe but I did find a photo of one in Yellow too. A chrome front fender is not really off-road orientated but in the UK I would guess most did not see an off road trail. I was lucky to pick up a NOS tank from the seller at the same time and in total I paid 165 GBP so good value I thought. I think it is a 1978 TS125C but it must have spent sometime hanging around in a showroom as it was not registered until 1981. When I re-built the engine I also cleaned up the porting etc. and it zings along at the top end, although down low (sub 4000 rpm) it is a bit lethargic despite the reed valve induction.
Cheers Geoff
