Hi,
Does anyone have a good solution/idea on how to plug/seal a muffle before it get rechromed? Also, how and with what do you clean it inside?

These guys do a good job with re-chroming pipes in the USA. Someone there may have a good answer for you.

Also, Ive been thinking, by poring brakefluid through the pipes should make them clean inside or not?

A solution of caustic soda i whats used to clean pipes.

I guess you need to flush with water after using caustic soda? I really dont like the thought of using water inside to avoid corrotion.

Think i might found a way to plug the pipes. Im not sure if the size fits since im not able to meassure the pipes at the moment but i ordered some of this onse.

As I guess you know, not all chromers will chrome two-stroke mufflers unless, maybe, you catch them when it's time to change 'the soup' in a tank anyway or some may use these to plug two-stroke muffflers during the process.fastbike wrote:Think i might found a way to plug the pipes.
