Unheard of.....it's Mad Sunday afternoon, and the weather is still fantastic. It's got to break soon !
The racing is awesome as ever....Michael Dunlop won yesterday's Super bike race, with the first ever sub 17 minute lap, and an average speed of over 133 mph. Just unbelievable !
My 2 old girls are causing a stir wherever I go as always.......

Caught Velocity last night. Great winner for a second generation of the Dunlops. And as Stavros said, it may not be his only win this week if the fairies are kind. Congrats to him and good luck for the rest of the week.
Titan, Have fun and come back safe and refreshed.

18 days on the Isle of Man, and no rain for about the first 15 of them.....unbelievable ! What a spectacular TT, with records tumbling.
One of my mates, a relative TT newbie on only his second visit, just couldn't believe how many people stopped to look at my 500, and didn't stop to look at his £20.000 R1..............it made me smile!

Re: IOM
Anyone can go to the TT as well - me, I'm going to the Classic TT and Manx GP on 27th August.
Another lap on a GT550 will be good too.

A little closer to home for you. Perhaps you fund my trip to TT, and I'll fund yours to the Gap?Alan H wrote:Anyone can go to the TT as well - me, I'm going to the Classic TT and Manx GP on 27th August.

I love going to "Bike Night" that local restaurants and businesses run, on my T500. I'll park it right next to the nicest cruisers and customs. Always have more people checking out the T500, and wanting to share stories and memories. And mine is nowhere near a beauty, just a cleaned up recovery.

Re: IOM
Not sure about cross funding trips!
I enjoyed the Classic TT last year and that's why we're going again this August - plans for several Kettles and a 550 are already in place. Only another 2 months to go.
I will be in the Caribbean and Barbados next year again and hope to meet up with Allan for a meal and beer (or three!)
Deals Gap is on the wish list - as is Route 66, pity they don't have classic 2 strokes to do it on. I get vibration white finger when subjected to heavy vibration, so might not be able to ride a Hardly Ableson for a long distance....

Sounds like the Classic Manx trip will be a lot of fun with all those old smokers. Look out for my buddy Timbo, on his T500 Scrambler. You may well hear him before you see him.[*][*]

Re: IOM
Amazing how, when we first posted pictures of it, quite a number of people said, they hadn't seen one of those for years !
I think they meant, ever.
