Re: Titan twingle
Curious as what you did to modify the oiling system and eliminate the oil pump? Looks like a neat project. Any thoughts on a shorter swing-arm or possibly bracing the stock swinger?

Re: Titan twingle
To delete oil injection I did the following: (outside bearings) bored hole from bottom of transfers to factory oil supply passage, removed the slingers ,new seals with assembly lube, plugged all four injection inlets wth Loctited set screws, removed tach/pump drive and plated off. Two inside bearings are fed from transmission, so no change there. I will use an electronic tach,32/1 Maxima M premix. I do not want a shorter swingarm for drag racing.

Re: Titan twingle
I finished the wiring( not much to this but was waiting on a Pingel tether switch),finished front brake and came up with the muffler hanger. Time to gather a buddy or two and get the bike out of the basement and into the garage. I hope to have it fully assembled and running by Thursday.

Re: Titan twingle
What a heavy turd! I am at 316# already with one strut off, no shifter lever, no lithium battery(2#), no fuel(6#). It will be right at 326# on the starting line. Many heavy parts still on it like stock sidestand, big arse silencer, forged steel footpegs, etc. I don' t have a battery for it, so I have not started it yet.

Re: Titan twingle
Thanks for that Dave. I already tucked the loose wire in. I have also decided to add a small fuel resevoir right between the filter and carb inlet. I want to make sure the big boy carb does not starve at full prolonged throttle. There is 8" of head from the bottom of tank to carb bowl, but 5/16" hose is 24" long.

Re: Titan twingle
No, fuel is in the tail section. Ironically weight bias is exactly 50/50. I am still amazed how heavy the engine is on these.

Re: Titan twingle
I'll start with my local track for test and tune. Many unanswered questions at this stage. Looking for a shift lever right now.
