gt 750 clutch release bearing/shaft
Hey guys, new member here doing a restoration on a 74 gt 750. looking at the clutch release shaft and the bearing it rides in. there is a lot of play between these two parts. neither the bearing inner surface nor the shaft outer surface looks warn at all. is this normal? almost looks like theres supposed to be a very thin race in between?

Yes, that's how it is - at least all of mine have been. The critical thing on that short shaft is the very end that rides in an oil seal. People often use pliers or vise grips on that end and oil fills the outer cover instead on the gear shaft.
