Calgary Motorcycle Show - CVMG Display

Post by oldjapanesebikes »

The first bike show of the new year in Calgary was this past weekend, and our local chapter was again asked to put on a vintage bike display which we are always happy to do. We normally try to get a wide variety of machines out, and as we were parked along side the new Indian's we decided to feature a few real ones ! As well we had a Rickman Metisse with a Matchless 500cc engine fitted, a 250cc Ducati racer, one Buffalo, my Cobra and Honda CL77, a Bantam, a Vincent Black Shadow, a Suzuki 450cc, shaft drive automatic, Fred's CBX - in all we had 23 bikes of all shapes, years and sizes on display. Had a great weekend ! I've included a few photos below:

Thanks for posting the pics. Love to see what is happening around the globe. The Cobra is looking very tasty indeed  I have to say, I do have a soft spot for the Black Shadows - not that the bank balance would ever stretch that far  How big is the bike group that you belong to?
