A while back someone on here referenced an article showing how another member had "engineered" a set of upper carb boots by cutting the fingers out of rubber gloves & adapting them to the purpose. It had good pictures & looked like a great "cost effective" solution to an otherwise expensive problem. I've looked all thru the REPAIRS FORUM & didn't have any luck finding the article. Does anyone know where I can find the article or know the link? I've got my carbs all cleaned up & would like to try this before they go back on Li'l Suz'i.
Thanks for any help.

Hi!
If it must be closer to the original, it should be possible to find some kind of "rubber bellow" like this one I used (cut it of, left 5 folds)

Well! Wasn't that quick?!? That's what I love about this forum!
Ya know, I was looking thru that thread before I posted my question, but guess I just didn't go in deep enough. BTW, ya gotta admire the work that teacher & his students have done on their project. Truly remarkable. I've gotta say MY carbs don't look near that good. WOW!
Thanks for the info. Just so happens I have a similar pair of old gloves that will make good donors for my project. Anybody got a suggestion for the throttle arm "elbow boots" (upper most boots)? Only one (the center) of mine has survived!

Never mind.. Just recieved them today. They really are a perfect fit, when you cut them a little shorter.
