GT750 Carbs will not stop leaking gas - LOST, PLEASE HELP

In regards to the leaking carbs, I've installed the fuel line and manually pushed up the float needle and I still get a drip. This is telling me two things... the needles and or seats aren't sealing or aren't mean to hold back the full flow of the tank when NOT on. Also, the fuel still flows even when the engine is off... I will post pics when i get my kits and do a tear down.

And to repeat myself also from another thread - for those very few cases where I can't get the petcock to seal properly, I plan to go this route:

That way it all still looks stock, but works as a manual valve.

You have rust particles floating around in your tank causing your issues. It only takes one particle big enough to jam a float needle. Or enough smaller ones. Your needles could possibly be worn at the tips also. You would have to compare them to new ones to verify that by looking at them. Sometimes that's hard to detect by looking at them, unless you replace them. Aftermarket needles could also be a cause.
