Not at all. I am getting seriously excited about the bike and will post some more pictures soon as I get a chance. Trying to arrange a photo shoot down by some old factory type buildings in downtown Raliegh this weekend as well.

I understand the concept but remember the Jemco's are not hard mounted on the front of the motor, they slide on and are held there with a spring. The stockers are hard mounted. There is still movement even with the stiffer hangers. In any case I am looking into how to mount it with rubber inserts.
Rassie , please dont take our well meaning advice as a criticism of your build or bike makeing skills as its not meant that way by John or I , its just we have been around these bikes for a good while and see when certain problems pop up and what it ends up taking to fix the problem . I would hate to see a weld messing up the nice finish on your new coated pipes so thats why when i saw the pipes hard mounted on the rear i thought i would say something . I wasnt going to say any more about it but i just wanted to explain my ( our ) motives .

Boy you guys are so nice. No worries what so ever...I am open to constructive criticism any time, even non constructive, please keep it coming. I plan to change the hangers, plan to use some beefy rubber mounts and will make the new hangers probably this weekend. Seriously the gang here have been super nice...unlike some of the other forums

The paint is BASF http://www.basfrefinish.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I am using their Limco Supreme plus paint. The codes on the can are C2S SB 108.5 and 576189. I used their color chart to select the color. Suffice to say that it is roughly the same color as regular blue masking tape. It was finished with 2 layers of clear with Highlight Blue pearl flakes over that and one layer of regular clearcoat.
