Watching your post with interest as i will be painting same colour in the future. I bought headlight ear from gt reiner Germany for colour. Send a photo if it help.

Thanks, buddy. But pictures won't do much. I found what I believe will be the closest paint color. After a lot of research. It should be close as it gets. If not, I'll live with it. But, im confident I'll be happy with that choice. Once its done within the next week or two I'll be sure to share pics and what that color is.

Hi pearljam, I had the same problem with a candy apple red on a honda cbx a few years back but my local painter got the colour close to the original colour by trial and error. Have you find the green colour for the strip. cheers

No, sir. I am putting this paint on a 76 tank. It doesn't have the early generation stripe you're looking for. But, I found the answer to your question. The code was 104 and color name is Lawn Green. I have found, like Im sure you and many others will. These old codes are absolutely worthless today. Aussie, like your answer to me. I'm sure that too will be trial and error. In the states we have a very common color that looks to match that old color. Called Hunter Green. I'd start around it's tone.
