Not the Suzuki but it's close
My 63' Yamaha YG1 needed a new seat so I'm going to build a cafe seat for it. I also replaced the riser bars with some flat bars.

I cut off the back of the pan and flattened the pan to sit on top of the frame. Next i cut down both curved sides of the pan to make it straight. Then took some some floral foam and made a rear section of the seat. It's not attached to the pan yet as i need to fiberglass it first.

Not yet. Added a back support and welded the main pan. I'm trying to make the back section out of metal instead of fiberglass. Going to work on it tomorrow. Stay tuned...Suzukidave wrote:Did you get a chance to finish your custom seat
