Bit of grave digging here, but it is out of necessity. While Working to crack the case on my t350, I snapped one of the oil lines.

Has anyone here gone through with rigging up some modern oil lines? My project is no resto, and I would hate to sink $100 into oil lines comprised of 40 year old plastic...

I see a lot of resources posted here, but no one claiming to have gone through with it.

Thanks!

Have same lines on my GT250 & have problems with the left line. The need to seal leaky lines or replace bad lines is undoubtedly going to become issue for more of us.

The Kawasaki guys might have figured this out.

When searching the web for info about oil lines I came across this Kawasaki post:

Maybe a forum member knows more about what they are doing?

To rehash this a bit, I believe there is a way to splice a broken plastic line. By inserting a piece of brass tubing to the damaged section and gluing it into place should repair a crack in a plastic line. Naturally you will have to cut the line first to get the tubing into place, and you need a piece of brass thats the correct size.
Two strokes, its just that simple.
