The NADA prices look pretty accurate to me, except I think they're a bit low still on the 72 GT750, and the 68 T500. At least the NADA puts some effort into coming up with correct values on vintage motorcycles. I love it when I'm selling a bike, and someone calls and says, "But kelley blue book says this bike is only worth $800 in excellent condition".

Great thread, I look forward to seeing how things go this year.

I still don't think this is 'apples to apples' , although it is a great idea to track the prices.  The eBay prices are 'peak' prices - so snapshots of the total market. The NADA prices as I understand it are averages of prices over time within regional areas and also category banding. It would be useful to know how many prices are in their sample set. 8)

Agreed.

The top tier bikes I've been tracking have been getting a premium over the NADA prices. But the lesser bikes often sell for prices more in line NADA.

Started this when I was trying to make sense of the eBay prices. Have been thinking about tracking "2nd tier" prices but I haven't figured out how to do it in a meaningful way.
