Because she is currently on second shift as a surgery nurse, so by the time she could have called, it was the middle of the night, so she let me sleep. :)

We do the same thing every year (7 so far)... I cook a home made pizza and we watch "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". No gifts, just an exchange of cards. Goofy tradition I know, but that's what we do.
