do you guys ever hear a song that you like it so much ,
that you play it regulary till ya get sick of hearing it?

Creedence Clearwater Revival-Fortunate Son just can't get it out of my head.
I've heard years ago but it it didn't appeal to me them like it does now.

That's a great song. I haven't had that one stuck in my head but I do that pretty regularly with songs. Sometimes I'll listen to one song many times in a row when I get that same itch to play a song to death.

Of course John, we all do that (I think).

I must have played Lionel Richie's "Angel" a million times in a row when it first came out.

I most certainly do, and always have.

My ipod has over 23,000 tracks on it, but my "favourites" list of a couple of hundred is about all I ever play Image

I'm really enjoying the work of a very local musician these days - David Ward Maclean - he'll never be huge, but that's often what attracts me to an artist.

Have a listen to Virginie - I've played it a gazillion times & seen him play it live half a dozen times, and still love it.

Fortunate son is indeed one of the greats and a good one to get stuck in the old melon as is SuzieQ by CCR. I've got a few others that play on my head phonograph like.........

ACDC It's a long way to the top

There's a bunch including Beach Boys stuff like Little GTO,Shut Down, etc,

This one really gets in my head when I'm riding a motorcycle......

Damn those Hondels

but here's one that tortured me from my youth......... 69

When I first got on the internet I spent years combing oldies sites and discussion groups for a copy. Turned out it was a local garage band and I got an MP3 emailed to me from a guy in Wisconsin. Weird! :D

Hmmmm....yes, I guess we are all "guilty" of this type of thing from time to time.
My current "fave" period is early-mid 80's rock stuff....Go Go's, J Geils, Police, Cars, etc, etc.
CCR was a big fave back in the day and I've been an on and off Beachboys and Jan & Dean fan forever. Having lived through that period of hot cars/bikes and endless summers it makes me appreciate the music that much more.....although living in So Cal WOULD have been a lot better.
