Re: Blue Flake Paint??
If you found a can with that part number on it, Kevin, I can pretty much guarantee it'd be solid by now.
KraigG's new acquisition is the exact colour you want....right???
His Buffalo has been stored indoors so is not faded at all. Maybe you can persuade him to loan you a side cover so you can get it scanned at an automotive paint supply place for a very close matchup ???
Good luck with your search.

Re: Blue Flake Paint??
No Rick,
I did not find a dried up can with that paint code. I researched and found the code on the internet. And yes, KraigG's bike color caught my eye and started me on this venture.:^)
I also found that the color is no longer available, but figured it would not hurt to ask the board.
I would not ask Kraig to part with a sidecover, even for a short period. But if he can find the info out and pass it it on it would be appreciated.

Re: Blue Flake Paint??
If a search doesn't locate one, then Rick's suggestion of having a piece colour matched is really your least cost option. Tins of Suzuki paint are still out there - Reiner (no web site, but his email is GTReiner1@aol.com) has had the odd one listed for sale (he currently has some of the 291 semi-gloss black for example) and for whatever reason, this dealer in Finland whom I've dealt with previously, actually still have quite a lot of hard to find items in stock.
They do have some paint, just not your colour unfortunately
If anyone else out there is wanting some Candy Gypsy Red (99000-10209-712) then they have stock at Euro 28 a tin !
Good luck !

Good luck !
Ian

Re: Blue Flake Paint??
A few months ago, I found a guy on ebay, located in WV, who paints motorcycles stock colors. I had him do my '72 Honda CB750, and it was a better than factory job. He even added the factory stripes, and cleared over them.
Do an ebay search for CB750 tanks, and you'll find him.
