I seem to remember someone (Allan?) a while back talking about how to repair the vent but couldn't find the thread. Mine's been acting up.

Hey Justin. Not exactly. On the highway at sustained open throttle the bike would actually cut out like it was running out of gas but switching to reserve wouldn't improve anything. One day I thought to open the fuel cap when the problem was occuring and sure enough the engine came right back to life. That happened a few more times over the course of last season and led me to believe a clogged fuel vent was the problem.pearljam724 wrote:What happened, when this problem occurred ? Im assuming the tank started to make strange noises. Due to poor ventilation of fuel vapors.
Good info to remember for anyone that runs across similar symptoms.Madbuffalo wrote:Hey Justin. Not exactly.
