T350 Clutch spring - free length question

Tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything on this. Does anyone have any accurate info on the free length of the T350 clutch springs? I have the official Suzuki shop manual, and unbelievably, it doesn't call out a spec for the length on these. I also have a Haynes manual for T250 / T350, and it calls out the free length as being 47.5mm std, 45.5mm service limit for these springs. Now, the problem.... I measured all of mine at just about 37.0mm. So they are off by 10 mm?!?!? I find it hard to believe they've sacked that much.... or could they? Could there be a mistake in the Haynes manual? The bike wasn't running when I got it, so I don't know if the clutch was slipping or not. I see that MotoSport still has the OEM springs (and only $1.47 each, not too bad), so worst case I could just order new ones, I guess. Any help or info would be appreciated.

Based on the part number (09440-19004) that spring was also used on the GT380 clutch, and the free length for it is listed in the GT380 manual as being 38.4mm +/- 1.15mm with a service limit of -1.5mm, or 36.9mm. Looks like yours are right on the edge of needing to be replaced, but I suspect would work OK if the plates aren't overly worn.

Excellent research & "connecting the dots" to realize that they're the same PN! That helps a lot. So I guess the Haynes manual is in error.
