I bought my gt550 a while ago and started restoring it. the question i have is what is the stock diameter of a gt550 light? my bike came with a non sealed beam that says "bosch 1 305 603 012 H4" ive tried looking around for the diameter and any info on it, but no avail.
i also tried measuring but couldnt get an accurate reading. please help. is anyone else using a non sealed headlight?

Re: GT550 H4 Headlight
The GT550 & GT750 use the same headlight.
Suzsmokeyallan has a sticky topic with the current part numbers to convert to an H4 headlight. See:

The sticky topic provides the current Suzuki part numbers for an H4 headlight that fits the GT750/GT550.

Re: GT550 H4 Headlight
7". Just go to the auto parts store and get a standard 7" H-4 halogen headlight. That's what I did on my GT750. Fit like dream and it is a sealed beam unit. There has been some discussion on here about the glass not having the correct angular throw for a motorcycle, but I saw no discernible difference.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.
