Non vacuum petcock for GT500?

Hi all,
can anyone suggest an application that would provide an available "normal" petcock for a GT500?
I've searched the site and yes I realize that I can flip the lever around and make my oem petcock "non vacuum". But mine is not only not flowing gas in the "ON" position all the time it is also seeping from the sediment bowl intermittently. (Yes I've replaced all the parts I can buy- that's everything but the diaphragm)
We have enough troubles with vacuum types at the shop on new(ish) machines that I just don't like them. Plus; every bike I've ever owned had a simple on-off-reserve petcock so I'm very well trained to turn it off when parking for more than a few minutes.

I've looked at several other Suzuki model parts descriptions with non vacuum petcocks but can't tell for certain that any would bolt onto the original GT tank so hopefully some of you have done the homework on this before and can help out.

thanks!

Relic

At Barbers this year I noticed that several of Paul Miller's display bikes had non vacuum petcocks installed. I suggest you email or call Paul, he has a solution.

You could take a look at Reproduction Decals, or Z1 Enterprises for a few ideas. Most bike shops sell the Pingel adapter plates shown on the Z1 site, or can get them. 8)

thanks for all the advice. Seems I would need to purchase a Pingel adapter plate and a spigot style petcock. Maybe I'll work a little harder to solve the issues on the original first.
Greenmachince; what bike did you find a match for at Repro Decals? I don't see one for the GT500? All I could find was spigot style.
