In a different direction, I believe that Carb Parts Warehouse offers replacement petcocks in a variety of sizes. These are simple, non-vacuum petcocks - but they look to be of good quality. I will check for the link when I get home. Just a thought...

Not stock but possibly perfectly utilitarian - if you can remember to turn it on!
