Just a quick question!

Would GT500 Crank cases work with the older T500 internals?

I think all the gearbox parts would fit, but worried the castings for the stator would be in a different place because of the switch between points & electronic ignition

Yes they will work. You just have to do some modifiying to the stator area to fit the early stuff.
