Threebond / Yamabond / Hondabond removal spray

Post by jabcb »

Happened across info on Threebond TB3911D, which is a spray remover for old liquid gaskets.
https://www.threebond.com.my/product/th ... t-remover/

Doesn't seem to be available in the US.
Does it work as well & easily as the info suggests? Any good alternative for low-skill home mechanics like me?

Cellulose thinners.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Interesting response.

Any particular cellulose thinner in mind? Have you used one with good results?

I use lacquer thinner, a.k.a. cancer in a can, for the toughest cleaning jobs.
Not sure about liquid gasket removal but it worked to remove the nasty varnish crapola from my 380's gas tank.
