can anybody identify this suzuki airbox?

Post by dollydog »

many thanks if you can. i got 2 of these with a job lot of t250 bits. they are obviously not t250 as they are off a single cylinder - but which one? they are very shallow - only 70mm deep and that 'D' shaped rubber might give someone a clue. i've looked all through the parts books on alpha sports, but to no avail. that's just supposing they are off a suzuki, as i'm only guessing. somebody somewhere might know :D
cheers, dd.
p.s. that doglegged rubber is 45mm i.d. so presume a fairly large carb.

Honda and Yamaha had twin cylinder bikes with separate air filters boxes with a connector passage between the two air filter boxes.

Per a quick eBay search, it looks a lot like this one from a Honda CB360: https://www.ebay.com/itm/350891440083
BAS (Bike Acquisition Syndrome) - too many bikes but have room for more

Suzuki:
GT750 2x75
GT550 72 & 75
GT380 72
T500 69 project & 73 project
T350 69 & 71
Honda 85 CB650SC & 86 CB700SC
