Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

You're right. Looks like pics are off the menu. I'll do some digging, but t'internet is a bit slow here in Madeira. Temp is about 17 degrees at 9pm though.......
Higgys are 2 x price of Abbeys and sound nicer. Mick doesn't bend his pipes around a brick either.

Hi VM there not bad not show pipes but original chrome & one little dink .
The reason I've put the piper back on is because it started to run really erratic missing and spitting loss of power etc.
So me thinks carb related  I must have had those carbs off in 1 week more than a pair of strippers draws
Checked for baffle blockage and the top upper right has completely collapsed inside hence using the piper runs a treat now.
Cheers Dave

Well I put a nice set on the 550K, a better set on the 550J, a set of Abbeys on the 550A, sold a bnib right outer for just over £500, two decent full sets of 550 pipes and 2 Piper 3-1s in the past 5 years. Not many pipes left now :wth: and they are all late style without joining tubes and average condition.
Must do a 'stock check' and post pics in case anyone needs bits.
I could do with a piper for a project I'm thinking of though..... :ssh:
Oh and the Hippo has a set of Allspeed shorties (Gibsons really) on (since 1979). Some bikes just shouldn't be standard!

My left outer is not brilliant, been leaking at the seam after it's been ground down for chromining. So I would be interested in a solid left outer if you have one Alan.

Remind me in a fortnight when I get home from Madeira.
