tachometer drive GT380

Post by sparky »

Hi Guys
My rev counter has stopped working, i have checked the cable which is in good condition, after reading the manual it says the tacho meter and oil pump runs from the same shaft, so i have checked and the oil pumps is working but looking down from top of the tacho drive sleeve there is no movement. I removed the small bolt near the sleeve, can i just pull the sleeve up and remove the vertical drive shaft. Im asking this because i have soak the sleeve in wd40 and it does not want to come out.
Regards
