Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi , I’ve just started my Gt500 after a restoration.
Carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and all new jets fitted. It starts and runs fine on choke, but as soon as I take off choke it slowly dies and won’t tick over ? Any ideas ?

this happened to me today! the ultrasonic made a small brass plug fall out. if you look in the grate u will find it locktite back in place good luck Ron
