Fr Brakelight Switch spring size?

Does anyone have a front brakelight switch off the lever so they can easily measure the little return spring?
I bought a new switch for my GT500, but there was no spring in the pack. I've been trying various small springs (out of Biros etc) but can't quite get it to work.
I need the diameter and length of the spring. Switch is the flat type that screws to the underside of the front disc brake lever.

If you're not a stickler for stock, get yourself ahead of the game and get an inline pressure switch.. It takes place of the stock banjo at the MC. It has 2 wires that wire in the same as the flimsy mechanical switch. No adjustments. Just slap it on and go. I used one of these for the rear brake on my converted to hydraulic cafe. They work great. Like this:
