GT550 first startup fuel mixture?

Hey all! i finally finished the engine rebuild for my 1973 GT550, what fuel mixture should i run in the tank for pistions that have never been run? i was thinking 32:1 along with the fuel pump. any suggestions?

There's another thread running on this very subject.
Personally, I don't, as I over oil everything during build up, but others do.
Just make sure the oil pump works, properly bled and oil lines full.
You can always hold the oil pump at max for a few minutes, and keep the revs down.

+1 with Alan,if everything is well oil internally,lines bled,just hold pump open fully by hand until your smoking out the neighbour hood

Its just that my punp is untested, my engine has been sitting a while, and i would like to run it at a mixture, like when you rebuild premix twostrokes.
the second tank of fuel will have little to no oil in it.

It isn't a pre-mix two stroke. If the motor is lubed, then just spin the motor over a few times first to prime the pump and fire it up.
I push oil into the lines that is a different color to the tank of oil and run it for a few minutes with the oil pump manually set to wide open. It will start to smoke badly and the oil in lines will change color.
If you really are not sure about the pump, remove it, connect it to an oil supply and spin it with an electric drill.
