This must be in one of the manuals, but if so then Suzuki have made it really hard to find
- anyone know what the service wear limit on the front and rear drum brakes are for the T500 ? There are no numbers cast inside the drums or the back plates on mine (its an MK1). I ask as the drum is a bit oval and I'm wondering if there is enough material there to allow it to be skimmed or if I have to replace it. The front drum looks to measure about 200.17 +/- .05 mm Thx !

The drums on my 72 T500 have the following cast inside the drums:
Front = "MAX. DIA. 200.7 mm"
Rear = "MAX. DIA. 180.7 mm"
Cheers

Perfect - thanks Geoff - appreciated !
Looks like if I decide to have it skimmed that I have at least a bit of material to work with.

Glad to assist. I just noticed the GT750 front drum is also 200.7mm.
