New to me 1975 T500 just got it running. Runs fantastic from 3000 rpms to wide open but boggs off the line. Carbs seem clean. Slight air mixture screw adjustments no more then the width of a screw driver doesn't seem to do anything for the bog. Air screw range from 1 1/8 to 1 3/4 turns out. Mains are 102.5 with air pods. needle on slot 3 i think. Stock exhaust. Am i looking at lean or rich. The mains to big to small? Thanks in advance.

Off the line is pilot jet or perhaps needle/jet. Mains are not in play at that sort of RPM & throttle position.

Start by cleaning out or replacing pilot jets and clean out the air ways and pilot bypass holes.
