I must do this check on the rotor on my own triple -- I suspect I have the same problem.

I think I would have solved the problem sooner and spent less money if I hadn't focused on "stator". At one point I convinced myself it was the stator and bought one from Ebay. Because something was nagging me, I didn't install it. I then rechecked the rotor, cold and hot and discovered it was the rotor that was weak to start with, but would charge, and then failed when hot.Craig380 wrote:I must do this check on the rotor on my own triple -- I suspect I have the same problem.
I now have an extra stator and the old rotor is a great paperweight.
