GT500 oil pump Upper/lower seal part numbers

Post by gyrocfi »

The thing is running great but NOW I have 2 stroke oil seeping from the Tack drive output. I cant find a oil pump drawing with the internals pictured?

Does anyone have a brake down drawing? Guess I will need at least a seal of some sort? Thanks Dofin

I need the top seal in the oil pump. There are some numbers on the seal "077 SDO 8 14 4" Lucky I have one that works in engine Im rebuilding. BUT I would really like to replace them.

i have the lower seal part number if anyone needs it but I need the top one.

There were no oil pump breakdowns. These were meant to be not servicable by the user. Pump goes bad -- buy a new one. No pump parts were ever available as single pieces.
Your best is to take the seal you need to your local bearing / seal supplier and see if they can match it up with a common - current seal.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

figured

Yep, came to that conclusion already, but thanks for the suggestion. I have the seal and Motion Industry's has figured out other bearings and seals for me before.

The lower seal is the same one that is in the right crankcase cover and supports the clutch push rod. Good one to also replace cause the injector oil seeps into the tranny. 09284-10002

Got the replacement upper oil seal for my oil pump. Easy peessy, pretty much standard 8mm-14mm-4mm. Here's the SKF part number 3036 or (CR 8X14X4 HMSI R)

lower seal Suzuki part number is 09284-10002 Dofin
