T500 blinker switch

Post by kall399 »

Hello

The blinker switch in my T500 has always been on the vague side in terms of tactile feedback but it's gotten worse now.
So does anyone know of where I could possibly find a replacement switch to replace the internal switch without changing the whole switch body? Or has someone possibly replaced theirs with a commonly available slide switch

Ebay is your friend.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

I had the same problem on my T500K and replaced the whole unit with another one off a later T500, perhaps M or L model. Slide switch was updated to a more reliable lever switch on them. You barely notice the difference visually.

Lots of corrosion/crap in your photo. Take the switch apart, contact cleaner, lube, resolder all the connections, reassemble?

I have been looking for a good one but they seem to be for sale rarely or very expensive

The problem isn't really bad connections it's mechanical wear in the switch making it very sloppy
