Great news Alan,we with family at higher Foxdale and usually frequent the Creek of an eve but have mates at campsite near Tynwald inn so may be going there too.i be on my 550a mate on black XS65b .keep eye out for us

Hi Alan & all.550 has new allen bolt and nut fixings in all baffles after MGP trip.hopefully they stay in place a bit better now ! Thats aside littls to do except new plugs after 500 miles of very very high speed riding .🤣 fair bit of cleaning still to do but she looks good and running brill.the trip did her good.

Eve Alan ,im back on here thanks to your help.ive had front rim rechromed and while at it had new tyre/pads/locking tabs.tyre should be on later this week.then wheel back on.and spring clean time.ive had her all wrapped up since end of Oct.i keep an oil filled rad in shop ticking over at 10/12 deg to keep cold and condensation at bay.i coated her in acf and wd40 too.battery in kitchen since then too.cant wait for roads to be rain washed of salt and Spring.

Many thanks again Alan.i cant seem to post photos now but i prob doing it wrong.my mate with 380m would like to take you up on a tank if you have a solid ish one.please let me know.cheers Bob

Eve all ,anyone know if a Piper 3 into 1 can be made to fit a 550a ? Im sure its a no but worth an ask

Anything can be made to fit, but as the 550 engine is wider and the bike is physically bigger, you'll need some cutting & welding equipment, I reckon.

My 550a back in one piece.front wheel back on with new tyre and pads etc.at the weekend i get the new plugs in and some fresh super unleaded.battery fully charged so hopefully be back on road soon.needs good clean to get all of the winter storage protection off.cant wait

550a all cleaned up of winter storage,acf etc.fresh fuel and plugs in and she started 1st kick.yay but it pouring down and due to all week .oh well maybe get out nxt week

Eve all , has anyone fitted a Higgspeed 3/1 to a 550a ? Ive been searching for 5 years for a Piper with no luck.cant find any videos of one fitted and running.im not keen on the look but advantage of keeping centre stand is handy.🤔
